Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the numbing and tingling in the hands people experience when there is a compressed nerve in the carpal tunnel which is of a group of small bones (ie carpals) located in the wrist.

I treated a woman from Oceanport who worked at a computer all day at her job in Eatontown.  Initially it started off as a pain solely in the wrist.  As time went on and the pain persisted, it progressed to her hands and she was developing weakness.

I treated her neck as there were issues from poor posture and treated her wrist.  Over time, her pain subsided and her grip strength improved.  She was taught postural exercises to strengthen her neck and upper back muscles to reduce the stress so make sure her problems stayed away.

She was excited that she did not have to get surgery and eventually stopped taking pain medications.
